The City of Denver requires 10% of the units on property to be inspected.

Example 1 - If your property has 15 units, two units will need to be inspected. 15 x 10% = 1.5 rounded up to 2. Total cost $145

Example 2 - If your property has 24 units, two units will need to be inspected. 124 x 10% = 2.4 rounded down to 2. Total cost $145

Example 3 - If your property has 90 units, 9 units will need to be inspected. Total cost $495

Additional information for multi-unit properties

• If there are any basement units, they need to be inspected

• A 2a10bc fire extinguisher is required. Fire extinguishers should have an up-to-date service tag. They must be located within 75 feet of every unit entrance or one fire extinguisher should be provided to each unit.
